Will Menopause Require Any Changes in My Daily Life?

After you have gone 12 months without a period, notify your doctor. Your next doctor’s appointment will consist of questions about your current medical conditions and lifestyle habits, such as your diet, if you smoke, if you drink and how often you exercise. Women who go through menopause have a higher chance of heart disease and osteoporosis.

If your doctor finds that you have a higher chance of either of these diseases they may ask you to change your diet, take some additional supplements or increase the amount of times you exercise. Your daily life may change because of menopause, but it will only change for the better.

Does Taking One Aspirin a Day Keep My Symptoms Away?

A common myth older woman believe is that after a certain age you should start to take one aspirin a day, to help with pain. Though taking one aspirin, a day can lower the chances of having a heart attack and a stroke, it is not meant for everyone. The main purpose of aspirin is to think your blood and create a better blood flow.

Pregnancy during menopause has a zero percent chance of happening, however the chances of getting an STD is still possible. A study performed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea are three times more likely to happen to women who going through menopause.
